Applying for a Property to Rent

As the real estate agents entrusted with the management of the landlord's property, it is essential that we check a prospective tenant's credentials before the property is let. Prospective tenants will be required to provide references, information about themselves, their employment/income and rental history by way of completing our Application for Residential Tenancy form.

When submitting your Application Form, you will require the following documentation and information to be submitted to YCR along with your Application:

• Proof of Income
• Personal References - 2 people not related to you
• 100 Point ID Check (including at least 1 with Photo ID):
• • Last 4 rent receipts 50pts
  • Drivers license 50pts
  • Passport 50pts
  • Other Photo ID with DOB 30pts
  • Health care/pension card 30pts
  • Birth/Marriage Certificate 30pts
  • Medicare Card 20pts
  • Bank keycard/credit card 20pts
  • Current rego papers 20pts
  • 2 x previous agent reference 20pts
  • Telstra account etc. 20pts
  • Bank statement 20pts
